Sweet Mary
Sweet Mary, 82, of Winchester, IN, passed away Monday, August 7th, 2023 peacefully surrounded by her Pine Knoll family in Winchester, IN. Mary was born on March 12, 1941. A kind hearted, independent and very social woman who loved the Lord, crocheting, cats, BINGO, stuffed animals, her Fur Real cat Susie, and her Reborn baby Ben. From humble and challenging beginnings, Mary found a home, friends, and family at Pine Knoll where she nurtured the facility cat, often sneaking food back to her room to feed it later, learned to trust in the kindness and care of others and opened her heart to the love and relationships she would develop over the many years she spent there. She is survived by her sister in faith; Tamra Burge (Jim), and 2 grandchildren in faith; Kolson MacKellar, Ryann James, as well as all of her friends and staff family at Pine Knoll Rehabilitation Center in Winchester, IN, who will miss her dearly. Arrangements have been entrusted to MJS Mortuaries - Farmland Chapel.
