 Myrna Lea Cook, 85, of Redkey, IN, passed away Saturday, May 21st, 2022 at her childhood home.  Myrna was born in Jay County, IN, on August 2, 1936, a daughter of the late Marceil (Mock) and Melvin Cook. She was a 1954 graduate of Redkey High School and was formerly employed by Indiana Glass.  Myrna was an extremely strong and hard working woman, who loved life on the farm, all animals, especially horses, being outdoors, reading magazine articles, watching sports, collecting glass  and horse figurines, and enjoying the comforts of home. She is survived by 2 aunts; Sue Pittenger, Janis Current, several cousins including; Shirley Peterson, Clifford E. Flesher, Sherlyn Flesher, and several extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Friends are invited to call Wednesday, May 25th, 2022, from 12-2 PM at MJS Mortuaries - Redkey Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 2 PM. Burial will be held in Hillcrest Cemetery in Redkey, IN. Arrangements have been entrusted to MJS Mortuaries - Redkey Chapel.
