Mary M. Urick, 94, of Dunkirk, IN, passed away Tuesday, August 29th, 2023 peacefully while in the company of family members at Muncie Estates Senior Living  Center in Muncie, IN. Mary was born in Winchester, IN on July 14, 1929, a daughter of the late Myrtle (Sheets) and Frank Tucker. She was the loving wife of Robert L. Urick, who she happily married in 1948, but sadly lost on May 15, 2009. She attended Winchester High School and formerly worked in assembly at Kerr Glass in Dunkirk, IN. Mary enjoyed Lawrence Welk, Gospel Music, spending time with her children and grandchildren, creating memories to be cherished forever. She is survived by her 3 children; Robert Urick (Rhonda), Matthew Urick (Amy Jo), Rebecca D. Dixon (David), 1 brother; Samuel Tucker, 1 sister; Dixie Hall, 12 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, 1 daughter; Deborah S. Bell, 1 son-in-law; Michael W. Bell, 4 brothers; Joe, Frank Jr., Jim Tucker and John McKibben, 2 sisters; Dorothy L. Carden, Wanda Jess and 1 great granddaughter, Stephanie Barber. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 4, 2023 from 3-5 PM at MJS Mortuaries - Redkey Chapel. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at 2 PM with Reverend Damon Soper officiating  in Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie, IN. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to Gentiva Hospice (9775 Crosspoint Blvd. Suite 118  Indianapolis, IN. 46256-3376). Arrangements have been entrusted to MJS Mortuaries.
