Jerry Wilson Lowrance, 83, of Ridgeville, IN., passed away Friday, March 17,2023 at Randolph Nursing Home in Winchester surrounded by family. Jerry was born August 2, 1939, in Lynn Garden Tennessee to George & Floy Mildred Hunt. He married Waynetta (Rita) Goodhew on July 12, 1975. She preceeded him in death on April 13, 2017. Jerry worked at Sheller Globe Union City, IN., for 27 years and retired from Sterling Casting, Bluffton, IN. He was a member of Sons of American Legion Post 507, Ridgeville. Jerry enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, listening to the Gaither's Band, as well as other southern gospel music. Jerry is survived by 3 sons; Dallas Lowrance (wife Kyong) of Pearl City, HI., J.R. Acker (wife Charmin) of Fort Wayne, IN.,  Jerry S. Lowrance of Portland, IN., Brothers; Frank Lowrance (wife Carolyn) of Winchester, IN., George W. Hunt (wife Angie) of Beaumont, TX, Sisters; Pat Tillson (husband Darrell) of Union City, IN., Betty Owens, Wyo.,  Ann Bowers (husband James) of Houston, TX. Aunt; Hilda Bracey, Sister-in-Law; Carolyn Lowrance of Fall Branch, TN,Grandchildren; April Acker, Vicki Lowrance, Mikki Lowrance, Gabriella Lowrance & Grant Lowrance, Great Grandchild; Braxton Bieck. In addition to his parents and wife. He was preceeded in death by a daughter Kathleen Leverette, brothers; Gordon Lowrance & Tom Lowrance & a granddaughter Cassondra Lowrance. Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at MJS Mortuaries Ridgeville, IN. Calling will be 2 hours prior to the funeral from 11-1 PM. Burial will follow in Lawndale Cemetery in Ridgeville, IN. Arrangements have been entrusted to MJS Mortuaries - Ridgeville Chapel.
