Jeffrey D. Dalle (Papa) of Farmland, IN, passed away on August 4, 2023 at his home. Jeff was born September 2, 1954 in Danville, IL, to the late Paul L. and Ruth I. Dalle. He married the love of his life Debra Lee Hawkins on July 20, 1974, they were married 49 years. Jeff had two children, a son Joshua D. Dalle of Farmland, a daughter Jamie (LeRoy) Crouch of Farmland, 2 brothers James (Kathy) Dalle of Norman, OK, Jay Dalle of Veedersburg, IN, 3 sisters Bobbie Jo Moulton of Carmel, IN, Tammy (Jeff) Chowning of Veedersburg, IN, Chris (Don) Dow of Thomasboro, IL, mother and father in law Dave and Beverly Penn of Spearfish, South Dakota, 9 grandchildren, Kylee, Caleb, Brittany, Charlie, Caden, Carson, Auburn, Miranda, and Paul, 3 great grandchildren, Zachariah, Claudia, and Chay'ace, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister in law Tammy Dalle, brother in law Bob Moulton, and his best friend in life Dennis Burris. Jeff was a Naval Veteran who served from September 1972 to April 1974. He worked on missiles, on the USS Robert A. Owens as an ordinance mechanic and received a National Defense Service Medal. Jeff worked for General Motors in Danville, IL until they closed and then transferred to Delphi Electronics in Kokomo, IN, until retirement in 2007. He also worked for Harvest Land in Farmland, IN, for a few years after retirement. Jeff enjoyed fishing, hunting, and bird watching, but mostly he enjoyed his children, especially his grandkids and even more so his great grandkids. There wasn't a diaper he wouldn't change or a loved one he wouldn't give a big hug. He will be greatly missed by all. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to MJS Mortuaries - Farmland Chapel.
