Harold Gene Drummond, Sr.
Harold Gene Drummond, Sr., 72, of Dunkirk, IN, passed away Monday, February 13th, 2023 peacefully in the comforts of home. Harold was born in Oroville, CA, on December 19, 1950, a son of Opal Louise (Eames) Massie and the late Oliver Gene Drummond. He proudly served in the United States Army, was formerly employed as a machine operator for Mosey Manufacturing and a dedicated local mechanic who enjoyed helping area residents. Harold was a very generous man, with a wonderful sense of humor. He enjoyed carpentry, welding, mechanics, motorcycles, classic rock, family barbecues and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his mother Opal L. Massie, 2 sons; Jesse Drummond (Ashlyn), Robert Drummond, 2 daughters; Cindy Fury (Jason), Samantha Morris, 3 brothers; Elmer Massie, Leonard Drummond, David Massie, 1 sister; Elouise Bacon, several grand and great grandchildren. Harold was preceded in death by his father Oliver, his wife Cheryl Drummond, 1 son; Harold Drummond Jr., and 1 brother; Kenneth Massie. Services are private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to MJS Mortuaries.
