Obituary
Esther L. Wine (Clayton), 82, of Farmland, IN, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2023, at the Bethel Pointe Health and Rehabilitation Center in Muncie, IN. Esther was born at Ball Memorial Hospital on July 22, 1940; eventually she would meet her loving husband, Walter R. Wine Jr. Esther and Walter recently celebrated 61 wonderful years of marriage prior to her passing. Besides being a wife and mother, Esther enjoyed bowling, painting landscapes while watching Bob Ross, listening to 50s/60s and country music, and watching baseball (especially the Cubs and the White Sox). Esther is predeceased by her parents Henry and Katherine (Clevenger) Clayton; her sister Rosemary Clayton; brothers John Clayton, Charles Clayton, Joseph Clayton, Robert Clayton, Harold Clayton, and Thomas Clayton; son Walter R. Wine, Il; and daughter Kathryne Ann Young (Wine). She is survived by her loving husband, Walter R. Wine Jr.; daughter-in-law Tina Wine (McNeely); grandchildren Amanda Hamm (Wine), Raymond E. Springman, and Lisa Griletz (Springman); and great-grandchildren Ren Hamm and August Morehead. At the family's request there will be no public services.
