Darriel Franklin (Frankie) Kelly, 30, of Parker City, IN, Formerly of Sarasota, FL, passed away Sunday, January 1st, 2023 unexpectedly at his residence. Frankie was born in Bradenton, FL, on November 5, 1992, a son of Christine (Kerrigan) Kelly and the late Darriel Thomas Kelly. He was a 2011 graduate of Riverview High School in Sarasota, FL, and worked in merchandising for Kroger. Frankie was a big hearted, lovable, and funny teddy bear of a man who always had a smile on his face. He loved to tell jokes, spend time on the beach, fishing, hunting, surfing, watching movies, The Office, Archer, listening to music, collecting sea shells and coins. Frankie is survived by his mother Christine Kelly, brother; William Kelly (wife Melanie), grandparents; Dianna Mixon (husband Sam), 2 aunts; Theresa Kerrigan, Samantha Worley (husband Stan), 3 uncles; Gene Kerrigan, Allen Kerrigan, Robert Mixon, 2 cousins; Cassandra Kerrigan and Sean Kerrigan. He was preceded in death by his father, grandfather; Ed Kerrigan, and 3 great grandparents; Louise Franks, Claude Franks Jr., Thelma Busby (husband Fred). A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 3 PM at MJS Mortuaries - Redkey Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. Arrangements have been entrusted to MJS Mortuaries - Redkey Chapel.
