Cynthia Renee May, 50, of Farmland, IN, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN. Cynthia was born in Muncie, IN on May 20, 1973. She was a beloved daughter of Roxann (Young) and Cris May. Cynthia grew up in Farmland, was a graduate of Monroe Central High School, and most enjoyed her work as a horticulturalist and manager. Cynthia enjoyed being outdoors with her hands in the dirt doing yardwork, creating native plant designs, and tending to her overflowing, impressive container gardens. She especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Cynthia is survived by her grandmother, Betty Young; son, Bryce Lembke; daughter, Kylee Lembke (Jordon Wells), two stepchildren; Jessica and Jacob Lembke; two sisters; April Reed (Kristopher) and Casey May; 5 grandchildren; Nolan, Jace, Landon, Samantha, and Justine; and beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her sister, Stacy Dudley; grandparents, Johnie Young, Wayne and Juanita May; children's father, Gene Lembke; aunts and a cousin. A private memorial will be held by her family. In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations be made to the Indiana Native Plant Society in Cynthia's honor. Arrangements have been entrusted to MJS Mortuaries - Farmland Chapel.
