Curtis Wayne Gaines age, 59 passed away peacefully at his home in Farmland, Indiana on Feb 1, 2023 with his beloved friend (Debra Howard) of 16 years and his Dog (Buddy) by his side. He was the son of (Phyllis and Woodrow Gaines) of Apopka Fl. born May 31, 1963 in Fort Madison, Iowa. Curtis is survived by one son Bradley Gaines of Oklahoma. He was the oldest of 4 siblings. He leaves behind Kimberly (Christine) Simpson of Oregon. Linda (Wayne) Carmon of Mattoon, Il and Theresa (Steve) Williams of Atwood, Il. Curtis graduated from Rantoul Highschool in Rantoul, Il. He attended church at the Rural Friends Church. He loved to be outdoors fishing, playing basketball and visiting family. Cremation - Curtis wishes were to spend eternity among the Kankakee River. His ashes will be spread appropriately at a later date.
