Buddy L. Geesaman, Sr.
Buddy L. Geesaman, Sr., 85, of Portland, IN, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2022 peacefully while in the company of family members at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN. Buddy was born in Redkey, IN, on April 19, 1937, a son of the late Ruth (Whitacre) and Harley W. Geesaman, Sr. He was formerly employed by P.H.D. Inc. in Ft. Wayne, IN, as a machine operator, and served in the United States Army. Buddy was a simple, quiet man who enjoyed the comforts of home, horses, watching western's, golf, riding on his golf cart, and spending time with his dogs. Buddy is survived by two sons; Buddy L. Geesaman Jr., Nathan Geesaman (wife Stephanie), and several half brothers and sisters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, stepmother; Ruth Geesaman, wife; Barbara A. (Caskey) Geesaman, and daughter; Reva Davis. Services are private at the convenience of the family at a later date. With burial to follow in Pennville IOOF Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to MJS Mortuaries - Redkey Chapel.
