Anna Rose (Gale) Price

Anna Rose (Gale) Price, 90, of Modoc, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, March 1st, 2023. She was born on September 26th, 1932, to Emery and Edith (Sewell) Gale in Delaware Co, IN

Anna Rose married Cecil E. Price on May 29th, 1953. They enjoyed 48yrs together. She was a devoted mother,grandmother, and “Gigi”. “Mamaw” supported her grandkids in all they did and loved watching her family grow with each great-grandchild born. She never missed a birthday.

Anna Rose asked Jesus Christ to be her Lord and Savior when she was 9yrs old. She was very involved in church, whether it was teaching Sunday School, Bible studies, or playing the piano, she did it all with a servants heart. Her love for the Lord was evident in her life. She was a godly example on how to love others with Christ’s love. She was a hard worker and spent her retired life enjoying family, scrapbooking, crocheting and babysitting grandkids. She will be greatly missed.

Anna Rose is survived by her 4 children: Mollie (Tom) Chalfant, Ernie (Lisa) Price, Scott (Rhonda) Price, Edi (Nathan) Morris; 18 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren with 3 more on the way. Andy (Joanna)Price, children: Christian, Audra, Wesley, and Daniel. Brad (Nina) Price, children:LeAnna, Clayton, Carson, Colton, Savannah, and Sierra. Wade (Jessica) Chalfant, child: Arienne. Megan (Kevin) Sempsrott, Elliot (Katie) Chalfant, children: Clay, Cole, Crew, and Ruby. Rosanna (Jimmy) Canfield, children: Jaycee, James, Jensen, and Josie. Travis (Jenna) Price, children: Darcy, Lily, and Clay. Rachel (Cody) White, children:Annlye, and Trylyn. Micah (Danielle) Morris, children: Aiden, Sasha, and Aaron. Logan (Ellen) Price, child: Caleb. Titus (Olivia) Morris, children: Hattie, Liam, Leland, and Landon. Zachary Price, Hayley Price, Hannah (Jacob) Dunn, children: Amelia, Daxton, Elsie, Willow, and Cohen. Abigail Chalfant, Chloe Morris, Landon (Cheyenne) Price, Annie Chalfant. Sisters: Carolyn Oren, Helen (Ned) Wysong. Brothers: Stan (Gail) Gale, Dan (Dee) Gale.

She was proceeded in death by her husband Cecil E. Price, her sisters Doris Price, Zelda Friddle and great-grandchildren Rebekah Price, Madalyn White, and Zion Chalfant.

Visitation will be from 4:00pm to 8:00pm March 9that M. J. S Mortuaries, LLC. 305 North Main Street, Farmland IN. 47340.

Services will be held at 11:00am on March 10th at Antioch Christian Church, 101 W. Second St, Losantville IN. With Pastor Andy Price and Pastor Brad Price officiating. Burial Procession to follow at Riverside Cemetery in Losantville.
